Adult and Child Racing Downhill on a Sled

An adult and a child ride a wooden sled down a snowy slope, leaning forward as speed lines streak behind them. The adult sits in back wearing earmuffs over a knit hat, a long scarf that blows out in the wind, and a belted coat. The child sits in front in a pom-pom hat, one mittened hand raised high and a big smile on their face. Striped cuffs and lace-up boots are drawn in good detail, and the sled's metal runners and curled front are easy to see. In the background, snow-covered bushes or trees sit on a small hill. This free printable has plenty of open space for the snow and the coats. Try coloring the scarf and hats in bright patterns, then ask kids to point out which lines show the sled moving fast and talk about why people bundle up for winter.
