Adult Dog Sitting With Cute Floppy Eared Puppy

A large dog with pointed ears sits upright in profile, facing left with its mouth open and tongue hanging out. Short pencil-like strokes mark the fur on its chest, shoulders, and back leg, and a long bushy tail curls out along the ground. A small puppy snuggles in beside the front legs, head tilted, with one floppy ear, a little smile, and a tongue peeking out. Tufts of tall grass grow at the lower left and on the right side. This free printable page works well for talking about how puppies and grown dogs look different. Kids could color the adult with sandy browns and dark shading and then pick a lighter or different pattern for the puppy, comparing ear shapes and paw sizes as they go.
