Hand in Hand on a Carpet Among Birds, Aladdin

Aladdin and Jasmine sit close together on the magic carpet as it floats through the night sky. Aladdin wears his turban with a feather and jewel, and he leans his head toward Jasmine while holding her hand. Jasmine kneels in front of him with her long braided ponytail trailing behind her. The carpet has a patterned border, decorative corner designs and round tassels. Long-necked birds fly all around them with their wings spread wide, and soft clouds, a big round moon and a few small stars fill the background. Try coloring the carpet in several bold shades so the pattern stands out, then use deep blues and purples for the sky. The birds also make a nice chance to talk about wing shapes and how animals look in flight. It is a free printable that works well for quiet time at home or in the classroom.
