Inside the Back of an Ambulance with Stretcher

This one takes you right into the back of an ambulance. A padded stretcher with two buckled safety straps sits in the middle, and a first aid bag marked with a cross rests on the floor next to it. Over on the left, a shelving unit holds rolls of bandages, folded towels, a toolbox-style kit, a jar and several bottles. Up above the stretcher there's a wall-mounted monitor with a coiled cord, some overhead cabinets, and a round porthole window with clouds outside. The floor has a dotted pattern, and part of a bench shows on the right. Kids who love lots of little objects to color will have a good time here. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the stretcher mattress and its thick cushions in sky blue, leaving the small pale yellow corner at the top of the bed blank or lightly tinted.
- 2Fill the stretcher's straps and their buckles with charcoal gray and slate blue, and add the monitor screen in slate blue.
- 3Paint the stretcher's metal rails, front bars, and wheel brackets in golden yellow, including the joints where the rails meet.
- 4Color the first aid bag and its side pockets in bright red, keeping the white cross in the middle blank, and add the small red first aid box on the shelf.
- 5Fill the floor, shelf items, and wall edges with cool gray, and the cabinets and walls with light gray, keeping the ceiling and background white.
- 6Optional: Use light sky blue for the porthole sky and mint green for the clouds, leaving the cloud highlights white.
