A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the main body, both arms and the lower legs and feet in sky blue, leaving the eye and the thin white stripes unpainted.
- 2Fill the large knuckles of both fists and the round head dome with golden yellow, so they pop against the blue.
- 3Color the red accents in tomato red on the lower legs, the right foot, the belly area and the red parts on the chest, then add the darker navy blue shadows on the shoulders and right forearm.
- 4Add the gray and charcoal parts on the upper left arm and the back plate, and use steel blue on the chest slashes and the right fist wrist.
- 5Keep the eye white and the thin white highlights on the wrist and foot edges, and color the small dark pupil in deep blue or black.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the navy blue areas along the edges of the yellow knuckles to make the robot look more solid.
