Baby Dragon Football (Soccer) Kick by the Castle
Coloring guide
A grinning baby dragon is mid-kick on a grassy field, one foot still raised after hitting a classic soccer ball covered in pentagon and hexagon panels. The little dragon has two horns, round spots on its cheeks and tail, a striped belly and small bat-like wings. A winding path climbs a hill behind it to a fairy-tale castle with flags on the towers, and fluffy clouds, rounded bushes and grass tufts fill the rest of the scene. Try bright green for the dragon with orange belly stripes, then a black and white pattern on the ball so it stands out from the grass. Bold, clear outlines make this free printable good for preschoolers and early elementary kids using crayons or markers. - 1Fill the dragon's body, head, arms, legs and tail with bright green, leaving the eye shine and the belly stripes for later.
- 2Color the grassy hills in lime green and the bushes on both sides in forest green, then add leaf green to the grass patches on the field.
- 3Paint the horns, head spikes, back spikes and tail spikes orange, and fill the castle roofs and tower tops in cherry red.
- 4Color the castle walls and doors in light gray, the clouds in sky blue, the wings in golden yellow and the belly stripes and claws in pale yellow.
- 5Color the tongue in coral pink and fill the dark pentagons on the soccer ball in charcoal black, keeping the white panels, eye shine and head highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker green along the edges of the dragon's body for a softly shaded look.
