Birthday Party Under the Sea for Baby Shark
Coloring guide
It's party time underwater, and a smiling baby shark in a striped party hat sits behind a tiered cake with four lit candles. Stars and seashells decorate the cake. On the left, a friendly sea turtle holds a bunch of balloons patterned with dots, stars, waves and stripes. A clownfish and a little crab with raised claws celebrate on the right. Three wrapped presents with bows sit up front, along with a starfish and a spiral shell on the sandy floor, while seaweed, coral, rocks, bubbles and tiny fish fill the background. Kids can practice with both big and small spaces here. Rainbow colors would be fun on the hat and balloons, and orange is the obvious choice for the clownfish. - 1Start with the sea background: fill the water and rocks with sky blue, soft blue and light aqua, leaving the bubbles and the background at the top right white.
- 2Color the baby shark's body, fin and arm in royal blue, keeping the big eyes and the teeth white.
- 3Paint the cake with bubblegum pink for the middle layer, pale cream for the lower layer and the base, and add apricot stripes.
- 4Fill the balloons with lavender, lemon yellow, tangerine and red orange, and leave the balloon strings white.
- 5Color the turtle with grass green for its head and flippers and chocolate brown for the shell, then add the orange and red orange clownfish and bright red crab.
- 6Finish the gift boxes in orange, grass green and bubblegum pink, add the seaweed and corals in soft greens and pinks, and add a light peach seashell. Optional: add a little shading under the shark and the cake to make them pop.
