Treasure Chest Find for a Baby Shark

Coloring guide
Wearing a little backpack, a smiling baby shark swims up to an open treasure chest that's spilling over with round coins and strings of beads. A friendly octopus peeks from behind a sandy mound on the right, and an old ship's wheel rests on the seabed at the left. Tall seaweed, floating bubbles, small rocks, a starfish and a few loose coins fill in the ocean floor. There's a good mix of sizes here, with roomy spaces for little hands and tiny coins and beads for kids who like detail. Shiny golds for the coins and pinks and purples for the bead strands will stand out nicely next to a blue shark. It's a free printable that makes a quick coloring break any time. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the shark's head, body, arm and tail bright blue, then fill the lighter belly and lower cheeks with pale sky blue, leaving the big eye whites and the smile's teeth white.
- 2Fill the sandy seabed and the area behind the treasure chest with sand beige, and color the gray rock and the small rocks with cool gray and slate blue.
- 3Color the treasure chest's wooden planks and lid in chocolate brown, and the backpack and its straps in caramel brown, keeping the background around the octopus white.
- 4Add golden yellow to the chest's metal bands and most of the gold coins, with lemon yellow on a few coins and the pearl necklace, then color the octopus lavender purple.
- 5Paint the seaweed in leaf green, the ship wheel's wood in chocolate brown with mustard orange trim, the starfish in tangerine orange, and the shark's open mouth in coral pink.
- 6Optional: Add a little pale aqua to the bubbles and a darker shade of blue on the shark's tail to make it pop.
