Porthole Peek-a-Boo with Baby Shark
Coloring guide
A smiling little shark pokes its head out of a round porthole in the side of a sunken wooden ship, both hands resting on the bottom of the frame. Big round eyes, a toothy grin and a tall dorsal fin make it easy to find in the middle of the page. Long wavy seaweed hangs down the weathered planks around the porthole, and barnacles dot the wood. Up at the upper right you'll see a tall mast wrapped in rope and a ship's wheel. Small striped fish swim through bubbles above and beside the wreck, and coral, scallop shells, a spiral shell and a starfish cover the seafloor below. Soft ocean blue with a pale belly suits the shark, and warm oranges and yellows make the fish pop against the wood. You can print or download this free page and keep spare copies around. - 2Color the round porthole ring with golden yellow, and fill the dark inner edge of the porthole with dark teal.
- 3Paint the wooden planks and ship timbers wood brown, leaving the background sky and bubbles white.
- 4Color the seaweed strands leaf green, and add the open smile in bright coral with white teeth.
- 5Fill the corals and shells with soft purple, dusty blue, sea gray, and peach orange, and add light gold sand at the bottom.
- 6Optional: Add light shading to the wood with a slightly darker brown along the plank edges to give the hull some depth.
