A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the wooden table and window sill in wood brown, leaving the wall areas white.
- 2Color the curtains and their tiebacks in lemon yellow, and the window panes in sky blue with leaf green bushes peeking up from the bottom.
- 3Fill the mixing bowl with bright blue on its top band and base, and sky blue on its lower body, then add the batter in pale butter yellow.
- 4Color the baking tray and its feet in light gray and slate gray, then fill each muffin with lemon yellow.
- 5Paint the measuring cup in cream and add the hearts and whisk handle in cherry red, leaving the egg and cup handle white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading along the bottom edges of the bowl and tray with a darker shade of the same color for depth.
