Baptism in Rippling Water as Onlookers Watch

Two figures stand waist deep in a pool of rippling water. One has a raised arm and long hair, and the other, wearing a headband and a draped sash, clasps hands with the first. A man and a child stand on the far bank behind them, with a hill and mountain outline in the distance. In the foreground, a man faces the water with a tall shepherd's staff, a headband, a zigzag-hemmed tunic, and strapped sandals. A seated woman with a veil and a barefoot seated figure on rocks watch from the left, and a woman and a boy sit on the right beneath a big palm tree. Try coloring the water in soft blues and leaving the ripples lighter. This is also a nice way to start a talk about baptism and Bible stories. The printable page has plenty of patterned clothing for fine details.
