Bongo Beatnik Bart Simpson in Beret and Shades

A cartoon boy with tall spiky hair sits on the ground and plays a pair of bongo drums. He wears big dark sunglasses and a floppy beret with a little stem on top, and his mouth is wide open as if he is singing or shouting along with the beat. His hands are raised over the drums, one tapping the left drum and the other lifted in the air. He has a loose short-sleeved shirt and big shoes poking out beneath the drums. The bongos have rope-style tuning loops around the rims and a small connecting bar between them. The sunglasses are solid black, so kids can leave them dark or add a shiny color. Try warm browns and oranges on the drums, then pick a bright color for the beret and shirt. It also makes a fun starting point for a talk about rhythm and music, and kids can tap along on a real table drum as they color.
