Baseball Glove With Laced Fingers and Pocket

Baseball Glove With Laced Fingers and Pocket coloring page

Coloring guide

A single baseball glove fills the page, shown from the palm side with the fingers pointing up. Thick outlines make the shapes easy to follow. Leather laces cross the tops of the fingers and run in a long braided strip down the left edge and along the bottom. Short dashes and curved marks inside the palm look like creases and stitching, and a few dark teardrop lines sit near the finger tops. On the right, the webbing and the thumb side show woven lacing with dotted stitch lines. Big open areas make this a good fit for younger kids using crayons. Try coloring the main leather in a warm brown and the laces in a lighter tan so the lacing stands out. It also works well for a sports unit or a talk about baseball gear before a game.
