Be My Valentine Rose With Candy Heart Letters

Coloring guide
A single large rose fills most of the page, drawn with bold, simple outlines. The center is a tight spiral of petals, and bigger curved petals wrap around it on every side. A long, rounded petal sweeps down the left and a few wide, flat-looking petals curl out at the bottom and right. Above the flower, the words BE MY VALENTINE are written in bubble letters, each one set inside its own little heart shaped like a conversation candy. The thick lines and roomy shapes make this easy for younger kids to color, and the small spiral in the middle gives older kids something more detailed to work on. Try coloring each petal in a slightly different shade of red or pink so the layers stand out, then alternate bright colors on the candy hearts. It would make a nice handmade card for a classmate or family member, and you can print as many copies as you need.
