Palm Tree Shading an Umbrella, Lounge Chair and Beach Ball

A leaning palm tree curves over a sandy beach, with its long fronds spreading out above a large striped beach umbrella. Under the umbrella sits a folding lounge chair with a striped seat, and a round beach ball rests on the sand just beside it. A wavy line winds across the foreground like a path or the edge of the water, and a flat horizon line runs behind the scene. Small bushes and a bit of leafy plants peek out on the right side. The big open spaces in the sky and sand are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring each umbrella panel in a different shade, then use the beach ball to practice alternating colors in its curved sections. This page is free to print for a summer afternoon activity.
