A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large blue areas first, including the center hex plate, the top and bottom panels, and the side blue sections, using royal blue.
- 2Color the red rings, the red slots at the front, and the red edges around the outer rim with red.
- 3Use bright yellow for the gold arcs, the lion's mane and face, and the crown, then add golden yellow to the darker gold edges and front panels.
- 4Color the two screws and the top screw with light gray, leaving a small shine on each one white.
- 5Finish the small navy blue tabs at the top and any remaining pale tan edge on the left side.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the red and blue panels to make the metal parts look more three-dimensional.
