A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big outer ring and edge panels with bright red and lemon yellow, alternating patches so they look like a checkered pattern.
- 2Color the dark sections of the top and bottom rings with royal blue, and the middle ring and side strips with sky blue.
- 3Fill the central hexagon with lemon yellow and golden yellow, then color the lion head and mane in light gray.
- 4Add steel gray to the small side pieces and bolts, and use dark gold on the small panel at the right edge.
- 5Leave the small highlight on the lion's face white, and keep the light gray bolts clean.
- 6Optional: add light shading on the edges of the panels with a slightly darker tone of each color to make them pop.
