Big-Beaked Toucan Resting on a Slanted Branch, Tropical Animals

Big-Beaked Toucan Resting on a Slanted Branch, Tropical Animals coloring page

Coloring guide

A toucan sits on a thick diagonal branch, its body turned at an angle while its head looks out toward the viewer with one large round eye. The oversized curved beak stretches to the left and has a small oval shape marked near the tip. Below the eye there is a rounded patch on the throat and cheek that is easy to color in as its own section. The wing is drawn with layered feather shapes, and two long thin lines run down the tail. Both feet grip the branch with visible claws. Because the outlines are clean and the sections are fairly large, this free printable works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. For a simple learning idea, look up photos of a real toucan together and let your child pick colors for the beak, throat patch, wing and tail based on what they see.
