Big Eyed Owl on a Branch Color by Number

Big Eyed Owl on a Branch Color by Number coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A round owl with huge circle eyes and a small diamond-shaped beak sits on a long tree branch, gripping it with both feet. Two pointed ear tufts rise from its head, and long feather-shaped wings hang down on each side. The belly has rows of scalloped feathers, and small leaves and buds sprout from the branch at the left and bottom. Every section holds a number such as 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 20, 23 or 25. The key at the bottom gives each color as an addition problem, like 5+3 for pink or 18+7 for green. Kids solve the sums first, then match each answer to the numbered spaces. Try writing the answer next to each color in the key before picking up a crayon. Printable copies work well for math centers or quiet afternoons at home.
