Black Manta takes the center of this underwater scene, muscular and facing front. His big oval helmet has two wide eye openings, and two ringed tubes curve up from it like antennae before winding down past his shoulders and along both arms. Strong abs and a V-shaped neckline are drawn on his chest and stomach. One fist rests on his hip while the other hand hangs open at his side. Round bubbles in different sizes float around him, and wavy lines behind his shoulders show moving water. The helmet and body have big open areas that are easy to fill, and the striped tubes give older kids something finer to tackle. Dark charcoal or black works well for the helmet, with bright yellow-white eyes, and deep teal and blue suit the water. It's a handy sheet to print at home for your growing collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big helmet head, the chest vest and the neck area with grass green, leaving the two eye shapes white.
- 2Color the cape-like shapes on the left side and the wave lines at the back with sky blue, and add a navy blue patch behind the right shoulder.
- 3Fill the striped antennae and the striped arm tubes with golden yellow, then add some orange and golden orange stripes for a warm glow.
- 4Paint the floating bubbles around the head and shoulders with light blue, leaving a small white shine in each one if you like.
- 5Keep the muscular skin, the abs, the right hand and the background white, and add a small olive brown patch on the neck. Optional: add a few light shading lines along the arm tubes for depth.
