Blocky Minecraft Character Walking With Pixel Background

A square-headed, blocky figure walks toward the viewer, drawn in the cubic style Minecraft is known for. The head is a flat-faced cube with two large rectangular eyes, a wide rectangular mouth in the middle, and two smaller rectangles on either side of it. Small pixel squares are scattered across the forehead and cheeks. The rectangular body has stepped, pixelated edges at the corners, and the boxy arms hang at the sides with jagged patterns near the hands. The legs are mid-stride with more pixel detail around the feet. Behind the figure, stair-step lines run out to the page edges like a pixel landscape. Try coloring the squares on the face and clothes in a few close shades of one color to get a textured, pixel-art look. It also works well for talking about how blocks build shapes. This printable page suits a wide range of ages.
