Blocky Minecraft Style Character Walking Forward

A square-headed, blocky character strides across the page in classic Minecraft style. The head is a big cube with a pixelated pattern across the top, a stepped edge down one side, two large square eyes with small inner squares, and a slim rectangular mouth. The body is a tall rectangle with a belt near the bottom and a square buckle set in the middle. The arms are long rectangular blocks, one swinging out on each side, and the legs are mid-step with one forward and one tucked behind. Because the shapes are so simple, the page works well for younger kids or anyone who likes clean lines. Try coloring the pixel patch on the head as hair and picking a different shade for each face of every block to show the 3D shape. This free printable also gives kids a nice way to practice spotting cubes and rectangles.
