Side-View Blue Bird from Angry Birds

Coloring guide
Here's a round little bird facing right, with a big pointed beak, two wide eyes with small black pupils and heavy eyelids that make him look cheeky and a bit goofy. Two small feather tufts stand up on his head, and a tiny two-pronged tail sticks out on the left. He looks like the Blue bird, one of the smallest in the flock in the game. The page has no background, so your child can focus on the bird alone. Thick outlines and large shapes make it a good match for younger kids and for crayons or chunky markers. Light blue for the body, a yellow or orange beak, and a darker blue for the head tufts and tail would look good. Print this free page for a classroom project or a weekend craft. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- bright red
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big round body with bright red, leaving the outline crisp.
- 2Color the two head feathers on top and the tail feathers on the left with the same bright red.
- 3Fill the small cheek area near the right side of the beak with bright red.
- 4Paint the top and bottom parts of the beak with golden yellow, keeping the line between them clear.
- 5Leave the two large eye whites untouched, and keep the black pupils and outlines as they are.
- 6Optional: Add a little lighter or darker shading of red on the body to give it a slightly rounder look.
