A round-faced panda with big sparkly eyes sits on the ground, holding a bubble tea cup in both paws. A long straw reaches up to its smiling mouth. The cup has a domed lid and is full of tapioca pearls, so there are lots of little circles to color. Each round ear has a star on it, and the feet show paw pads with toe beans. Hearts and floating bubbles are scattered around the bear and fill up the empty space. Bold lines and fairly large shapes make this good for young kids, and also for kids who like practicing on detailed spots. Pastel pink or light purple suits the boba drink, and bright yellow stars on the ears pop nicely. The free PDF is ready to download for a fun afternoon. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the tea in the cup and the boba pearls: fill the drink area with caramel tan and leave a few pearls white for shine.
- 2Color the panda's body, arms, legs and paw pads with charcoal gray, keeping the face and the belly area white.
- 3Fill the big round eye patches with charcoal gray, then leave the eye whites and the shiny spots white.
- 4Paint the two star ears with golden yellow, and color the dome lid, lid rim and straw with sky blue and coral pink.
- 5Add the hearts and floating bubbles: coral pink hearts and sky blue bubbles around the panda.
- 6Optional: Add a little pale cream to the cup edges and lid band for a soft highlight, and use a lighter blush pink on the toe beans.
