Jester Hat Leap for Boots the Monkey

A cheerful monkey leaps through the air wearing a floppy jester hat with three pom-poms on its points. This looks like Boots from Dora the Explorer. His left hand is raised in a wave, the other arm stretches out to the side with the palm open, and his eyes look up toward the hat with a wide open smile. One big shoe shows its striped sole while the other foot kicks out below him. His long tail curls in an S shape at the bottom right. A few small circles float around him like juggling balls or confetti. The large open areas make this easy for younger kids to color. Try alternating bright colors on the hat points and giving each floating circle its own shade, then talk about patterns while you fill in the stripes on the shoe. Print it free for a rainy afternoon.
