Bow-Wearing Bunny and Fluffy Chick with a Big Egg

A smiling bunny with tall ears and a bow at its neck sits on the left, holding a basket filled with decorated eggs and a bit of ruffled paper grass. On the right, a fluffy chick with a small bow on its head perches on top of a large egg marked with curved stripes. The two look at each other. On the ground in front are two more eggs, one with a stripe and one covered in round dots, plus a scattering of little jelly bean shapes. The big egg stripes and the dotted egg are fun spots for patterns, so try crayons in a pastel set and let kids pick a different color for every band and dot. This free printable also works well for a classroom activity about counting the eggs and jelly beans, or for talking about spring animals and how chicks hatch.
