Fishing Off the Dock With a Frog: The Legend of Zelda Coloring Page
Coloring guide
At the edge of a wooden dock sits a smiling child in a bucket hat and rubber boots, holding a fishing rod out over the pond. A round wooden shield with a metal center leans against the planks beside the boy, a small nod to the Zelda theme. Under the dock, two round-eyed fish swim in rippling water, and a happy frog sits on a lily pad near the red-and-white style bobber on the line. A lotus flower, extra lily pads, tall cattails and reeds fill the shoreline. The shapes are big and clean, so beginners and younger kids will do fine with crayons. Green suits the frog and lily pads, orange the fish, and browns the dock posts and shield. Print this free page for classroom time or a rainy day. Add this to your The Legend of Zelda coloring page collection, alongside Brawl Stars and Sonic the Hedgehog.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wooden parts: color the dock, the posts and the shield in caramel brown, leaving the metal rim of the shield for later.
- 2Fill the boy's hat, boots and the two fish-free bits of the scene with bright yellow for the hat and rain boots, and add golden yellow to the fish and the hat brim.
- 3Color the boy's overalls in sky blue and his red shirt, then add pale skin tone to his face, hands and knees, keeping the eyes white with black outlines.
- 4Paint the frog and the lily pads in grass green, and color the frog's cheeks and the lotus flower in pink.
- 5Add light blue to the pond water, leaving the background white, and use orange and amber for the fish fins and tails.
- 6Optional: Add a little dark brown to the wood grain and light gray to the shield rim for a bit of shading.
