Boy Kneeling on Bed Looking Out Window

A boy with messy dark hair kneels on a rumpled bed with his back mostly to us, looking out a window. He wears a short-sleeved shirt, and there are bands or bracelets on his wrist and ankle. His hands rest on the windowsill. Two sets of window blinds hang with uneven slats, and a tall bottle or carton stands on the sill at the right. Big pillows and a loose blanket fill the foreground, and a small flat object sits on the bed near his knees. The scene looks like a quiet morning moment. The shapes are big and the lines are bold, so it works well for both crayons and markers. Try coloring the light coming through the blinds in warm yellows, then use cooler blues and grays for the bedding to make the room feel calm. This free printable is also a nice prompt for talking about morning routines.
