Boy Reading in Armchair With Sad Puppy
Coloring guide
A barefoot boy lies back in a big cushioned armchair with his legs flung over one armrest, holding an open book up in front of his face. His mouth is open a little, so he looks surprised or really caught up in the story. His pants are rolled at the cuffs and his shirt has a rounded collar. Down on the floor, a floppy-eared dog rests its chin on the rug and gazes up with droopy, worried eyes. Next to the chair sit a tipped bottle with drips running down its neck and a plate with what looks like a banana peel. This free printable has lots of fun spots to color. Try soft blues and greens for the chair, then talk with kids about what the boy is reading and why the puppy looks so glum.
