Bubble Haired Mermaid Rag Doll Floating Along

A smiling rag doll mermaid floats in the center of the page, with big round buttons for eyes, each one stitched with a cross. Dashed lines mark her cheeks like sewn patches. Her hair is a puffy cluster of bubbles on top, with a beaded crown shape poking up in the middle and wavy striped bangs framing her face. Two large bubbles sit at the sides of her head like hair buns. She wears a dotted top with a starfish at the bow, a beaded necklace, and ruffled shell-like layers around her waist. Her tail has rows of little loops that look like scales, ending in a curly fin. Try coloring the bubbles in a mix of pale blues, pinks, and purples, then use a bright pop of color for the buttons. This free printable is also nice for practicing small circles with younger kids.
