Rag Doll Mermaid and Her Pufferfish Pal

A rag doll mermaid with big round button eyes, each marked with an X, smiles with a stitched dotted mouth and round rosy cheeks. She wears a striped head wrap with a flower bow and has a ruffled top with a polka dot band. Large rolled shell-like puffs sit on both sides of her head. Her tail is covered in rows of scalloped scales and ends in a swirly fin. Her flat arms stick out at her sides. A small round pufferfish with matching button eyes, a stitched seam, tiny fins and a little round mouth floats in the bottom right corner. Try a different color for each row of scales so the tail looks like a rainbow, then pick a bright shade for the stripes on her head wrap. This free printable also works well for talking about patterns, since the stripes, dots and scales all repeat.
