Gingerbread House at the End of a Candy Meadow Path

Round, flat stepping stones wind up a hilly meadow to a little gingerbread house with an arched door, a round window, a dotted roof and a chimney. Giant frosted cupcakes topped with cherries, hearts and sprinkles line both sides of the trail. Big swirled lollipops stand on tall sticks among small trees and puffy clouds. The grassy hills are covered in tiny flowers and little gumdrop candies, so patient colorers will have lots to do. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big rolling hills and meadow with grass green, leaving the clouds, lollipop swirls and house white.
- 2Color the sky patches behind the lollipops and trees with sky blue.
- 3Fill the path stones one by one: sky blue, lavender purple, tangerine orange, lemon yellow, baby pink and golden yellow, mixing them up along the winding path.
- 4Color the cupcake wrappers with raspberry pink stripes on the big cupcake and lavender purple on the top one, and use chocolate brown for the muffin tops and the frosting on the right cupcake.
- 5Add cherry red to the cherries on top of the cupcakes and lemon yellow to the wrappers on the right side.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker leaf green to the shrubs and bushes, and a bit of coral pink to the mushroom caps for extra depth.
