Sweet Castle at the End of a Candy Land Path

Coloring guide
An oval stepping-stone path winds up a gumdrop-covered hill to a small candy castle with a swirled dome and a round peppermint door. That's the heart of this page. Giant swirly lollipops rise on tall sticks along both sides of the trail, with smaller ones farther back. Striped candy canes curve up in the front corners, and short striped posts topped with round candies line the path. Sprinkled gumdrops, bushy shrubs, a few flowers and puffy clouds fill in the rest. You get large open spaces for little hands and tiny details for older kids. Rainbow swirls on the lollipops and pink or purple gumdrops will help the castle at the top stand out. It's free to print, handy for a rainy afternoon or a class activity. More like this: explore the Candy, Ghost and Bat coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green hills and bushes: fill the grass areas on the sides and in the back with grass green, and use light green for the lighter bushes and hill tops.
- 2Color the winding path and the stepping stones in pale yellow and sunny yellow, leaving the path edges and the stones' outlines easy to see.
- 3Fill the lollipops: use red for the big right lollipop rings and the candy cane stripes, golden orange and orange for the left lollipops, and bright yellow for the middle lollipop rim.
- 4Add the candy eggs and small mounds in hot pink, purple, and light pink, and paint the castle top in light pink and the tip in sunny yellow.
- 5Color the left and right candy canes and the bushes in dark green and brown, keeping the cloud, lollipop swirls, flowers, and candy cane stripes white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of the same color on the bushes and the lollipop rims to make the drawing pop.
