Captain America Holding Shield in Battle Stance

Captain America crouches in a wide, ready stance with his round shield held out in front of his body and his other fist pulled back at his side. The shield is drawn with several rings around a center circle with a big five-point star. His cowl has an A on the forehead, with goggles over his eyes, and a smaller star sits on his chest. You can also see shoulder straps, a small Avengers logo on one sleeve, padded knees, gloves, and rugged boots with cuffed pants. The thick outlines and large open areas make it friendly for kids who like bold shapes. Try coloring the shield rings in alternating colors, then talk about how the circles repeat in a pattern. A free printout works well for a rainy afternoon activity or a classroom art break.
