Cartoon Digger by a Tree, Fence and Birds

A friendly cartoon construction machine sits in the lower right with its big bucket tipped forward and a pair of eyes peeking out above its arm. Behind it, a tall tree with a leafy top rises beside a wooden plank fence and a brick wall. On the left, two tires are stacked up with a lumpy round shape on top, and a small bird stands next to it. Another bird clings to the fence near the tree trunk, with striped legs showing. The thick, clean outlines make it easy for younger kids to handle. Try coloring the bricks in different shades of red and orange, then talk about which parts of the scene are natural and which are built or made. This free printable also works well for practicing shading wood grain on the fence.
