Cartoon Dog Carrying a Rolled Newspaper in Mouth
Coloring guide
A cartoon dog walks to the right with a folded newspaper held in its mouth. The paper has lined text areas drawn on it, and the dark opening of the roll shows at the bottom. The dog has big round eyes, a tuft of spiky hair on top of its head, and one long floppy ear. It wears a collar with a row of round dots. Its front paw is lifted mid-step, all four paws show small toe lines, and the tail curves up behind it. The big open spaces on the body and ear are easy for small hands to fill in. Try browns and tans for the dog, a bright color for the collar, and gray or light yellow for the newspaper. It also works well for talking about pets that help around the house. This printable page suits preschoolers and early elementary kids.
