This friendly cat mask has two tall pointed ears, each with a smaller triangle drawn inside. Big almond-shaped eye holes sit over a little triangle nose and a curved smile. Three long whiskers reach out on each side. At each cheek, a ribbon hangs from a small circle and ends in a notched tail, so it looks like a real party mask that's ready to tie on. Bold lines and large shapes keep things simple for young children. Soft gray or orange suits the face, with pink for the inside of the ears and the nose, and bright stripes on the ribbons. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the whole cat face mask with golden orange, staying inside the black outline and leaving the two eye openings white.
- 2Fill both ribbons that tie at the sides of the mask with coral red, going all the way down to the pointed ends.
- 3Color the inside of both pointy ears with soft pink, keeping the black lines crisp.
- 4Add the small triangle nose in soft pink so it stands out against the orange face.
- 5Leave the eye openings, whiskers, and smile lines as they are, so the white eyes and black details pop.
- 6Optional: Add a few lighter or darker strokes of orange and red in the same direction to give the mask a little texture.
