Surprise! Funko Pop! Boy Popping Out of the Box
Coloring guide
A smiling cartoon boy with big shiny eyes pops up out of an open display box, both arms thrown up in a happy cheer. He has short, swoopy hair, a small round nose, an open mouth and a plain short-sleeved shirt. The box has a flap tilted back on top and a blank rounded label panel across the bottom, just waiting for a name or a drawing. Stars and curly and straight confetti pieces fill the white space around it, so the page feels like a party. Large open areas and bold outlines suit small hands. Sky blue for the box and warm brown or golden yellow for the hair look good, and the confetti can be any mix of colors. Download this free PDF for class time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the box label panel at the bottom and the box front and sides in golden yellow, leaving the eye shines white.
- 2Color the sky blue background inside the box and the light blue areas around the boy's face, leaving the top corners of the box interior lighter where you like.
- 3Fill the boy's face, ears, neck and hands with peach skin, then color his hair chestnut brown.
- 4Add the royal blue sleeves and shirt, then the cherry red and coral pink mouth and tongue.
- 5Finish the confetti with the star, strip and small piece colors: golden yellow stars, green, purple, orange and blue pieces scattered around the box.
- 6Optional: Add light shading on the hair and the sides of the box with a slightly darker tone for depth.
