Chibi Fairy With Long Pigtails and Butterfly Wings

A small chibi-style fairy sits in the middle of the page with big round eyes, long curled eyelashes and a cheerful open-mouth smile. Her hair is pulled into two tall pigtails that flow down past her feet and end in swirly curls on each side. A tiny tiara sits on her forehead. She wears a star-detailed top, a small belt with a charm at the waist, flowing sleeves and tall strappy boots. Her arms are stretched out to the sides as she perches on a star-shaped seat with scrolled edges. Large butterfly wings with striped panels and scalloped patterns spread out behind her. The wing sections are a good place to try a gradient, shading each stripe from light to dark in one color family. The curly hair loops also give kids a fun spot to practice small, careful coloring. It's a free printable that works well for markers or colored pencils.
