Child Sledding Downhill While Friend Carries Sled

A smiling child in a rounded winter cap, mittens, and puffy snowsuit lies belly down on a wooden sled and speeds down a snowy hill. A long striped scarf with fringe streams out behind, and the boots stick up in the air. Up the slope, a second child in a hooded cap and mittens walks along holding a sled and looking down at the snow. Behind them, a tall evergreen tree and a snow-covered bush sit on the hilltop. There are lots of nice big spaces here for crayons, especially the snowsuits and the sled. Try giving the scarf bold stripes in two or three colors, then talk about which colors keep a kid warm and easy to spot against the snow. This page is free to print and works well for a cozy winter afternoon.
