Eight Haloed Angels Around a Star Cluster Mandala

Eight little angels circle around a cluster of stars in this round mandala. Each angel has a halo, curly hair, small wings and a long gown with a wavy hem. The angels face different ways. Some stand upright with arms out, a couple fold their hands as if praying, and the ones at the top and sides are turned and tilted around the ring. Between them sit large outlined stars, and five more stars are bunched together in the middle. The whole design sits inside a thin circle border. The big open shapes in the gowns, wings and stars are easy for younger kids to fill in, while the curls and hem details give older kids something to work on. Try giving every angel a different gown color and keeping the halos and stars gold or yellow. You could also count the angels and stars together as a quick counting activity.
