Christmas Light Bulb Wreath with Rockefeller Tree Facts

Christmas Light Bulb Wreath with Rockefeller Tree Facts coloring page

Coloring guide

A round wreath is built from a ring of old-fashioned Christmas bulbs, each with a pointed oval glass shape, a little looped filament inside, and a ridged socket at the base. The bulbs overlap in two layers around an open center, with wire loops peeking out between them. At the bottom, a twisted cord runs off to a two-prong plug. Hand-lettered text curves around the outside edge and shares a bit of history about the first commercial strings of Christmas lights and the Rockefeller Center tree. Try coloring each bulb in a different holiday shade and leaving the filaments a glowing yellow, or use the lettering as a reading moment before you start. Kids can trace the curved words with a finger, while older kids and adults can shade the glass with soft gradients. It prints nicely for a free afternoon craft.
