Christmas Tree Made of Nested Scalloped Arches

Coloring guide
A tall triangular Christmas tree sits under a simple outlined five-point star. Inside the tree, rows of rounded scallops stack from the top down to the base, and each scallop is made of several nested curved lines, a bit like little rainbows or fish scales. The scallops get wider and more numerous toward the bottom, and a plain rectangular trunk sits underneath. Because the arches are layered, you get lots of narrow bands to fill in, which suits adult colorers who like fine detail. Try coloring each row in a different shade, then shift the colors gradually inside every arch so it looks like an ombre ripple. Colored pencils or fine liners work best for the thin spaces. You can print it free and keep the star blank or fill it with gold.
