Cinderella Smiling Down at Gus the Mouse in an Oval Frame

A young woman with her hair in a rounded updo and a headband smiles down at a small mouse standing on her open palm. She wears a black choker, an earring, puffy short sleeves, long gloves and a gown with a wide skirt. Her other hand rests near her waist. The mouse has big round ears, a chubby belly and a long curled tail, and he looks back at her with a doubtful squint. Everything sits inside a tall oval border. The page has clean, open shapes, so it works well for kids who are still building pencil control. Try coloring the gown in two soft shades, then pick a contrasting gray or brown for the mouse so he stands out against her hand. It is also a nice prompt for talking about friendship and kindness.
