Color by Number Monkey Hanging From a Tree Branch

A smiling monkey hangs from a thick tree branch by both hands, with its legs dangling and a long curled tail swinging below. The monkey has big round ears, wide eyes with eyelashes, a small round nose, and a belly patch in the middle of its body. Leafy scalloped edges of the tree canopy run across the top, and the trunk curves down the left side. Small numbers from 1 to 5 are printed in the spaces, with a color key beside the monkey: blue, yellow, red, green and brown. The key also shows how to mix green from yellow and blue, and brown from red, yellow and blue. Kids can try mixing their own green for the leaves and brown for the arms and trunk before they start. This printable page works well for early number recognition and color mixing practice.
