Bouncy COMPASSION Letters Framed by Scalloped Borders

Coloring guide
The word COMPASSION fills the middle of the page in big, bouncy outline letters with uneven, hand-drawn edges. The letters are different sizes and lean in different directions, and the C and the O have extra inner outlines that make them look layered. Above and below the word are rows of wavy, drippy scalloped shapes, each finished with a small bubbly edge along the bottom or top. Several striped bars cross through these borders, and a few of them have little scalloped outlines around them. The wide, open letters are easy to fill, so younger kids can manage them with chunky crayons. For a classroom idea, ask each student to color one letter and name one kind thing they did for someone this week. Then post the finished page on a kindness board. The patterned borders work well for markers, gel pens, or colored pencils.
