Overflowing Cornucopia for Thanksgiving with Fruit, Corn and Pumpkins
Coloring guide
A big woven cornucopia lies on its side, curled tip at the top left, with the harvest tumbling out of its open mouth. In and around the basket you'll see a large apple with a leaf, two pears, bunches of round grapes and two ears of corn with the husks peeled back. Two plump pumpkins and a second apple sit up front, big pointed leaves are tucked around the edges, and little tufts of grass dot the ground. The braided basket has lots of criss-cross weaving to color, and the grapes, made of many small circles, are great for fine-motor practice. Golden tan and light brown work for the basket, deep purple for the grapes, and bright orange for the pumpkins. There's plenty of room here, so printing a few extra copies is a good idea, and it's free. Love this Thanksgiving coloring page? You might also enjoy our New Year and Easter coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the woven basket of the cornucopia: color the darker strips caramel brown and the lighter strips amber gold, alternating them as you go.
- 2Fill the big apples and the red fruit at the front with tomato red, leaving the small shine spots white.
- 3Color the pears and the yellow apples with bright yellow, and use golden yellow on the basket tips and rim.
- 4Color the pumpkins and orange leaves with pumpkin orange, then fill the grape clusters with grape purple.
- 5Color the corn husks and the green leaves with leafy green, and add olive brown to the small shadow under the basket rim.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on one side of each apple, pear and pumpkin to make them look rounder.
