Cozy Bedroom I Spy: Rocking Horse, Robot and Toys
Coloring guide
At the center of this cozy bedroom sits a little bed with a flowered quilt and a heart-shaped pillow, and every corner has something to find. A rocking horse with a saddle stands on the left, with a small kitten peeking over its back. The bookshelf holds rows of books, a globe, a pencil cup with a heart, a framed picture, and a trailing plant with a toy sailboat on top. A teddy bear peeks out from behind it. A smiling robot with a heart on its chest sits on the round rug with a striped ball, building blocks and a stacking ring toy. A kitten rests in a basket, a doll sits by the nightstand, and a flowered lamp, moon and stars, and a curtained window finish the room. Soft purples and pinks suit the quilt and curtains, and your child can count how many hidden toys they spot. Print this free page for a classroom project or weekend craft. - 1Start with the big background areas: fill the walls with a very pale blue and the rug with a rose pink, leaving the rug's scalloped edge white.
- 2Color the wooden furniture and floor in caramel brown, including the bed frame, bed posts, shelves, and the floor around the rug.
- 3Paint the bed quilt and pillows in light sky blue and sky blue, adding the small white flowers, and fill the heart pillow with tomato red, leaving a white border.
- 4Color the rocking horse, teddy bear, and robot in their main shades, then add the sunny yellow picture frame, the golden orange horse harness, and the peach cat.
- 5Optional: Add the small details last, such as the globe, the books on the shelves, and the toy ring stack, and leave the window glass and lamp highlights white.
