Royal Cupcake Queen Shopkins With Tall Frosting

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• baby pink
• pale sand
• cream
• hot pink
• cherry red
• coral
• golden yellow
• lime green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the cupcake wrapper face, both hands and the right arm with pale sand, leaving the big eye whites and the small shine spots white.
2. 2Color the wide frosting bands on the left, right and top of the swirl with cream, keeping the bands along the edge light.
3. 3Fill the lower, middle and upper frosting swirl bands with baby pink so they alternate with the cream bands.
4. 4Color the top frosting peak and the triangle decoration with hot pink, then add the edge of the triangle in the same shade.
5. 5Color the apple, the hair bow and its tail with cherry red, and add the apple leaf in lime green.
6. 6Finish with the bow center in golden yellow and the left foot in coral, leaving the right foot bow white. Optional: add a little light shading along the edges of the swirls for depth.
