Comic Book Afternoon With a Fluffy Dog, The Loud House
Coloring guide
A smiling curly-haired boy leans back in a big armchair with a comic book open in his hands, while a fluffy dog rests its head on his knee. The comic pages show a starburst, a city skyline of tall buildings and a small masked hero, which makes nice little spots to color. He's wearing a hooded sweatshirt with drawstrings, loose pants and lace-up sneakers. The dog has long shaggy fur, big floppy ears and a dark nose, with its paws hanging over the edge of the cushion. It's a free printable for a quiet afternoon, and the large shapes are easy for younger kids. Yellow and red work well for the comic starbursts, and warm golden brown suits the dog's fur against the chair. Love this The Loud House coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sofa: color the backrest, both arms, and the seat cushions in sky blue, leaving the sofa outline clean.
- 2Fill the dog's fluffy body, front paws, and head in golden orange, keeping the nose area for a darker touch later.
- 3Color the boy's face, hands, and neck in peach skin, then fill his curly hair with auburn brown.
- 4Use denim blue for the jeans and bright red for the hoodie, sleeves, and the red parts of the sneakers; leave the sneaker soles white.
- 5Color the comic book cover edges and stars in lemon yellow, the city skyline sky in light sky blue, the green panels in grass green, and the superhero costume in cornflower blue; leave the eye whites white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of navy blue on the buildings and the sofa's shaded sides to give depth.
